Instrument measurement principle: Ammonia nitrogen in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions in water samples reacts with Nessler’s reagent to form a colored complex, the absorbance of which at a specific wavelength is proportional to the ammonia nitrogen content. The absorbance is detected by the photoelectric colorimetric principle, and the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in the water sample is calculated.
