Specifications
Principle of total iron determination: Use a reducing agent to reduce the high-valent iron ions in the water sample to be tested into ferrous ions. Between pH 3 and 9, the ferrous ions in the water sample react with o-phenanthroline to form a stable orange-red complex. The absorbance of the complex is detected by the principle of photoelectric colorimetry to calculate the total iron concentration in the water sample.
