Specifications
Principle of instrument measurement: The water sample to be tested is distilled under certain conditions and the distillate is collected. The phenolic compounds in the distillate react with 4-aminoantipyrine in the presence of an oxidant at a specific pH to generate an orange-red indole antipyrine compound, which absorbs at a specific wavelength. The absorbance is detected by the principle of photoelectric colorimetry and the mass concentration of volatile phenols in the water sample is calculated.
